December 9, 5:30 pm at the Argyros: Root Policy Research and BCHA will present the first countywide study identifying barriers to housing choice and disparate impacts on populations protected under the Fair Housing Act through examination of demographics, housing costs, income, employment data, local zoning, policy, and resident and caseworker feedback.
Heidi Aggeler, Managing Director of Root Policy Research, who oversaw production of the analysis, will join BCHA’s Housing Strategist, Rian Rooney. The presentation will highlight findings and recommendations for local governments and organizations to help overcome identified barriers.
